Bradley has been speaking French since 2007 ; he now has a C2 native-level of fluency and a near-native accent. Having studied French Linguistics at La Sorbonne in Paris, he holds a Bachelor's degree in French, linguistics, and archaeology from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in intercultural business and French from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Bradley was most recently the Executive Assistant and Program Coordinator at a French Company in downtown Chicago where he used my French daily to communicate with French universities, sponsors, and students.
Bradley is a registered proctor for the European Consortium for the Certificate of Attainment in Modern Languages (ECL) French Language proficiency exam through the University of Pécs' Foreign Language Center. This certification allows to accurately and officially assess your speaking, listening, reading, and writing abilities in the French language.
Being a native English speaker is an advantage as Bradley am aware of the faults many English-speaking learners of French are prone to make and can preemptively address these common mistakes.
Lessons with Bradley focus on verbal and written fluency through conversation, reading of literature and news, movies, music, pronunciation training, journaling, and letter writing. Depending on your proficiency level, you can choose to focus on just one of these areas or you can opt for a more comprehensive approach.
